Tirupati International Airport (TIR), located in Renigunta, Andhra Pradesh, offers essential services to passengers, including baggage handling and a Lost and Found department. While the airport does not have a dedicated cloak room, it provides facilities to assist travelers with lost belongings

Procedure to Apply for a Lost Item

• Immediate Reporting: If you've lost an item within the airport premises, report it to the Duty Terminal Manager immediately.
• Verification: The Lost and Found team will verify the details of the lost item.
• Claiming the Item: Once verified, you can claim your item by providing the necessary documents.

Documents Required

• Boarding Pass: Proof of your travel.
• Government-Issued ID: Such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport.
• Authorization Letter: If someone else is collecting the item on your behalf, a signed letter authorizing them is required.

Please note: Items must be collected within 90 days from the date of receipt; otherwise, they will be disposed of as per government directives.

Guidelines

• Collection Time: Lost items can be collected from the AAI Stores on working days (Monday to Friday) between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM, except on holidays.
• Perishable Items: These are kept for 48 hours before disposal.
• Liability: AAI is not liable for any damages to lost property under its custody.
